Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Benjamin Stacker ("the service"), operated by Keepr Holdings LLC ("we", "us"), a California limited liability company based in Orangevale, California. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Benjamin Stacker, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Benjamin Stacker is automated money management and budgeting software. It connects to your financial accounts through SimpleFin using read-only access, and it generates AI-assisted categorizations, budget suggestions, and answers to questions about your data. The service is offered as-is and evolves over time.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials safe. Each account is for one person. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. New accounts receive a trial period as described on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer the service, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Financial disclaimer

Benjamin Stacker provides bookkeeping software. Categorizations, projections, and other output are informational and based on the data available to the service. Nothing the service produces is financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Verify anything important before acting on it.

7. Data

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running reliably, but we make no uptime warranty, particularly during the current beta period.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim related to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice of material changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
